Tutoring review by Rudy in Creve Coeur, MO
The student was able to complete another complete math section of a practice exam. I graded it while she completed some practice problems focusing on geometry from my prep book. We then reviewed some of the questions that she was stuck on concerning geometry. The topics specifically dealt with solving lines/angles. We then went over her exam. She scored between a 540-580, which was already an increase from the last exam of 510-550. The student is showing great improvement in the math section..

Tutoring review by Katherine in Creve Coeur, MO
The student and I reviewed math for her upcoming test.  We covered some strategies for managing percents questions under all sorts of conditions.  I helped her understand percents in a different way, which is as comprehensible pieces of a whole. When we move the decimal point and work with real values for 10%, 5% or 1% we can answer any question more easily, and better check our work through estimating the correct answer.  She made a few errors in arithmetic but staying focused should clear those up.  We also covered Triangle geometry.
