What Sections Does Oklahoma City GMAT Prep Review?
GMAT prep can review all sections of the test. The GMAT is comprised of four sections, all aimed to test different skills and knowledge. The four sections of the test are Quantitative Reasoning, an Analytical Writing Assessment, Verbal Reasoning, and Integrated Reasoning. Let's look further into each section so that you can be better prepared on exam day.
The Quantitative Reasoning section requires that you answer 31 multiple-choice questions in 62 minutes. There are two types of questions in this section. The first type is Data Sufficiency. For these questions, you will be given a question with two statements. You will need to use reasoning, math, and general knowledge skills to identify the point where there's enough information to answer the question. The second type of question in this section is Problem-Solving. These questions test your ability to analyze information and use logical reasoning skills to choose the best answer from one of five choices.
In the Analytical Writing Assessment, you will read and analyze an argument, and then you will plan and write a response to that argument. You will be scored on your command of written English, quality of writing, organization and expression of ideas, and your ability to recognize and scrutinize aspects of the argument. You will also need to write pertinent examples and supporting reasons for your argument. You are only allowed 30 minutes for this section, so you will probably want to practice planning and organizing ideas so that you can complete this section efficiently.
The Verbal Reasoning section has three types of questions: Sentence Correction, Reading Comprehension, and Critical Reasoning. Sentence Correction questions are as straightforward as they sound. You will answer questions pertaining to underlined sections of a passage. You will need to identify proper sentence structure and grammar and choose the best solution that makes the sentence the most concise and clear. Reading Comprehension questions require you read a written passage and answer the questions that follow. These questions test your skills in drawing inferences, following quantitative concept development, and understanding words and statements. Finally, the Critical Reasoning questions are based on short readings. After reading the passage you will answer the questions by assessing an action plan and making and analyzing arguments. There is a total of 36 questions, and you will have 65 minutes to answer them.
The last section we will discuss is the Integrated Reasoning section. This section is only 12 questions and is given in a 30-minute allotted time frame. There are four types of questions: Table Analysis, Graphic Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, and Multi-Source Reasoning. Table Analysis questions test your ability to analyze and sort data in a table and identify what information meets the desired condition. Graphic Interpretation questions require you to make conclusions and recognize relationships amongst data in charts and graphs. Two-Part Analysis questions assess your skills for solving several simultaneous equations and identify relationships between more complex problems. The Multi-Source Reasoning questions require you use data, tables, text, and graphics to answer questions.
What Are the Different Types of Oklahoma City GMAT Prep That Can Benefit Me?
We can connect you with prep courses or private tutors to benefit you in your preparation for the GMAT. After you have enrolled in a course, you will participate in a collaborative online setting with other students and a professional instructor. Participating in an interactive online class, you can exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn new skills and techniques for preparing from other students or from your instructor. It has also shown that learning with a group can improve the retention of information. If you are in need of additional help or attention outside of the course, you can also schedule one-on-one time with your instructor. New courses begin each week, making it easy for you to get started when you're ready.
Some people learn better in one-on-one sessions than in a classroom setting, so we can also connect you with individualized learning sessions with a private instructor. Individualized learning sessions allow the instructor more time to focus on your areas of opportunity, goals, and needs than a classroom setting can. It also allows them more flexibility with your personal learning plan. Once you have a good understanding of a section, you can move on to a different section that may be more challenging for you. In a classroom setting, you may not get a chance to ask all questions or concerns you may have, but because a private instructor is solely focused on your needs, you can get all your questions answered.
Whether you choose one of these types or both, we can connect you with experienced professional GMAT prep to guide you as you strive for your goals.

Emerson said that the secret of education is respecting the student. I have the greatest respect for that part of the human spirit that is curious and wants to learn. I find that if students feel they are listened to and heard, this allows them to feel encouraged. When they begin to understand that learning can be fun, the whole process becomes exciting and joyful. We are all curious and like to learn.
