I come from a multi-ethnic family who immigrated to Latin America from the Middle East during the early 1900s with hopes for a better and more comfortable life. They embraced Latino culture, attained fluency in Spanish, and successfully ran their own clothing business. I have led multiple study groups in an effort to not only learn by teaching others but to have the opportunity to see my peers succeed as well. I genuinely enjoy seeing students who I have helped get the grades that I know they are truly capable of.

I'm a graduate of Baruch College. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management, with a minor in Spanish.Since graduating, I've tutored people of all ages, with varying levels of proficiency (i.e. beginners, etc.)In addition to grammar and literature, I've helped my students improve their conversational Japanese in everyday situations.My lessons also incorporate elements of Japanese culture, especially pop culture and anime/manga, and history.In my spare time, I enjoy playing piano, painting, traveling and learning different cultures and languages.

Now he is taking calculus and is doing well. My previous experience as a tutor and my daily life as a student has enabled me to develop not only specific skills to be the best tutor, but also to be patient and understanding. This is because I have lived the frustration of not understanding a subject myself. This pushes me to read and go find the help that I need. Living this myself makes me devoted and goal oriented, and motivates me to help my students even more. I want to get my PhD in I.O. in the future and develop more and better skills to be the best tutor that I can ever be.

Hi! I am an alumnus of the Bronx High School of Science and a rising sophomore at Macaulay Honors at Baruch College. I first started to tutor when I was in middle school. I assisted elementary school students that were either relatives or family friends. I continued my passion for teaching in high school, guiding many students through a variety of standardized tests from Kindergarten to 8th grade including the Gifted and Talented examination and the Common Core ELA and Math assessments. When I became a upperclassman, I began tutoring students at a private tutoring company for Regents exams primarily in math subjects and for the SHSAT exam.
