Everyone learns differently. My goal is to find out how my students learn best so that I can help them success. Knowing the material, even if very well, is not enough to be a good tutor. I will make my best effort to coach my students so that they can figure out the way in which they learn best and I will adapt my teaching style to each student's needs. I will help them set tangible goals that they can work towards so that they can achieve success and I will be there to help them along the way.About me:I am currently a junior at the University of Central Florida where I am pursuing a degree in economics. I went to high school in Miami, Fl, and before that I lived and studied abroad. In the past I have been a middle school math tutor with Mu Alpha Theta and have been offered tutor positions by the Student Academic Resource Center at UCF. I tutor Economics (both macro and micro), U.S Government and Politics, U.S. History, and Spanish (native speaker. I can help students prepare for the advanced placement tests in all of these subjects. I also help students prepare for college readiness assisting with applications, essays, and SAT critical reading and writing. In my spare time I am a member of the UCF Western Equestrian Team, where I compete in horsemanship competitions, and I am an avid guitar player. I am also very passionate about traveling.My favorite part of tutoring is seeing my students setting up goals and being able to accomplish them. If I had to pick my favorite subjects to tutor they would be U.S.History and U.S. government. So much in fact, that I read books about these subjects just for pleasure. Nonetheless, I am very proficient in all the other subjects that I tutor as well.

I am a student at the University of Central Florida. I have studied Accounting, Engineering and Health Science. I'm excited to graduate in December 2023. I have had internships in Accounting and Industrial Engineering in both Orlando, Florida and Los Angeles, California. I have past nursing experience in orthopedics, gyn oncology, surgery, occupational medicine , family practice and emergency room medicine.My undergraduate focus has been Fundamentals/Foundations of Nursing, Concepts, Health Assessment, Med/Surg and I enjoy not only the teaching aspect, but I believe that learning should be fun.I have extensive experience in tutoring and mentoring for ATI exams (TEAS/Comp Predictor, Proctored exams) and the NCLEX. In addition, I tutor in "how to study" and "how to take an exam". In addition to tutoring for course exams and final exams.Individual tutoring affords me the opportunity to really get to the know the students. Additionally, it allows me the time to individually work with students on study skills and test taking strategies to help ensure their success.In addition to my education experience, I own a wellness company that provides on- site wellness services to corporate clients. CORPHEALTH provides health fairs, wellness events, lunch and learns and flu clinics. It has been my privilege to be able to take my students to many of these events. As a result of the success of my company, I received the Award of Excellence as a Nurse Entrepreneur from the Florida Nurse's Association.

I have been teaching Finite Mathematics and College Algebra to Freshmen and Sophomores when I was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Central Florida. I also taught Statistics and Probability at Valencia Community College for a two semesters. I have always had a passion to transmitting knowledge. It is a fulfilling experience and make me plain and purposeful as I help young students become productive citizens of society.It is always gratifying to see a struggling student do well thanks to the teaching efforts an instructor provides. I love to break difficult problems into small, manageable, and easily understandable concepts that a student can follow to become successful at tackling quantitative exercises. Ive created murals, social media graphics, paintings, and event promotional professionally. My experience ranges from traditional art to digital art. I believe that when approaching artistic development the main challenge is the mind.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Central Florida. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I remember. I have always enjoyed teaching children, and I especially find joy in those "light bulb" moments when a student catches onto a new concept. I homeschooled my own children from kindergarten through high school. I taught 2nd grade for 8 years. I have taught English to children in China (online) for the last 3 years. I believe education is the best way to improve one's life, and I strive to help people reach their educational goals.

As a young middle school student, I required a tutor to improve my reading and writing skills; I was a Polish immigrant, and was struggling with English. My tutor taught me to enjoy learning, and eventually I became an English major while simultaneously pursuing a pre-med track. I can empathize with younger students who are struggling and need someone, as I once did, to make them as enthusiastic about learning as I am now.In my capacity as a private middle school and high school tutor for both math and biology, I have had the opportunity to help other students for a year now. I've used my love of learning to help me work with students who have struggled with their courses. Tutoring students who did not enjoy algebra taught me to appeal to a student's interests in order to find ways to make the material more accessible and relevant.I used to struggle in math. I found the concepts hard to grasp and sometimes beyond my reach. But with hard work and some guidance, I eventually excelled. I can understand why certain concepts are difficult to learn for some students. I've therefore found it very rewarding to put mathematical concepts and principles into words that the student will be able to understand. My ultimate goal when teaching math is to make sure the student understands what I am teaching well enough to be able to solve any problem on his or her own.I am an English major on the pre-med track, which has given me experience in English, math, and science. I have completed all of my pre-med and English requirements with high scores. I have interned for The Florida Review, and have published some of my own work in Independent Ink. I'm also very comfortable working with kids, and helping them better understand concepts that they struggle with.I look forward to helping young students and allowing them to discover their full potential.

I am an 11 year Elementary School teacher with a Masters in both Reading K-12 and Teaching ESOL students. I have background in teaching a wide variety of learners and love to see students "soar" academically. I like to make learning meaningful as well as make connections in the lessons I teach so that they are most memorable for students. I truly enjoy hearing success stories from students that may have once struggled in some areas academically, but are now more aware of strategies that we may have uncovered together that makes them more successful.
