I would be able to help the struggling student pass and do well in any math class. In my time as a middle school teacher, I found that explaining the importance of the subject, and how the subject relates and is useful to everyday life as the best way to help the student maintain an interest in the subject. I also found that breaking down the topic in which the student is struggling in to smaller more manageable bits to be the best road to understanding the subject matter. In my spare time I love to read especially sci-fi / fantasy, watch sports, and do outdoor activities such as hiking and boating.
