About Me
I was born in Japan and studied Japanese literature at Fukuoka Women's University and hold a Bachelor's degree and received a Teacher's Certificate in High School Japanese from the Japanese government. I learned how to teach Japanese to foreigners at the Continuing Education Programs of NYU. I also hold an MBA from Baruch College, City University of New York and worked as a banker in the US, helping Japanese companies do business in the US as well as assisting US companies to develop their business in Japan. For example, I like visiting museums, going to see operas, and practicing Japanese Tea Ceremony. It makes me feel very rewarded when I can help others achieve their goals. I would like to conduct each session to suit the student's particular need and motivation whether it is general interest in Japanese culture and language, or preparation for an upcoming trip to Japan, or doing well in school work.
Hobbies & Interests
