I have over thirty years combined experience as an elementary classroom teacher and as a reading teacher. I have always maintained a love of teaching and a strong dedication to my students, families and profession. I have a thorough understanding of reading assessments, interventions, and educational materials to focus on student learning needs and styles.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cardiff University, and have a Masters in Counseling from Monash University. Trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy, I am passionate and experienced in using a multi-sensory approach to tutoring students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
