LSAT Tutoring review by Adriana in Kansas City, MO
Went through practice exercises and vocabulary for a quiz. Made flash cards with student and went through them. LSAT Tutoring review by Andrew in Kansas City, MO
For the first portion of the hour we had, we completed the study guide/practice worksheet that the student got from class. She understood lots of it without my help and when I did have to step in, it was for usually a single letter misplacement. One thing we practiced was figuring out which form of a noun to use when translating English to Latin (i.e. when to use accusative vs ablative for prepositions especially). Advised her also how to use study cards she had made.

Tonight we worked on the student's science homework. We talked about mid-ocean ridges and moving plates. We talked about how the Hawaiian islands were formed. We did as much of the homework as we could. Overall, a great session as always.

LSAT Tutoring review by Ryan in Kansas City, MO
The student and I went over how to attack the writing section of the exam. I showed him the outlining method and offered to grade a sample if he liked. He and I went over a practice test he had taken, looking for weaknesses. Finally, he expressed a desire to continue to work on logic games so I watched him take a practice section and then we covered each game and detailed how it could be solved.
