The Marine View Park falls along the salt water beach. While a gorgeous area, this is not the place for a quiet lie about but is instead an area for adventure. The densely wooded park has small paths winding through the bluffs, ravines, and woods. Adventurers will eventually come to the beach, which is perfect for beach combing. There is a paved walking path for the less adventurous spirits who simply want to stroll along the beach.

Another great place to stroll is the Nature Trails Park. The nearly 20 acres of wooded terrain provides a great place for a workout or nature viewing. A looped trail runs through the area. The trail is ideal for walking, jogging, and biking. Bring a book or a sketchpad and enjoy the nature around you by relaxing out in the open.

Tutoring review by Mason in Normandy Park, WA
Our primary focus is chemistry - particularly with rate constants. Some of the conceptual questions about increasing pressure in a reaction or adding a catalyst will trip him up, but he'll immediately go back and amend his answers once he realizes his mistake.

The student and I continued working on his online schooling, reviewing sections from his Algebra, Biology, and English classes. In Algebra, we practiced two variable problems. In Biology, we reviewed the ribosomes, their structure and function, and in English we read a short story and examined the author's use of point of view and imagery.

Tutoring review by Ram in Normandy Park, WA
Today, we reviewed the quadratic equation, the discriminant, finding complex roots, and graphing. We then worked on the student's review problems in the book and reviewed the complicated review sheet that her teacher provided. She had a great grasp of all the concepts and rarely made mistakes. We also reviewed previously difficult problems that were relevant to her upcoming quiz. She solved two problems completely correctly that she previously had difficulty with. I finished the session by quizzing her on the important equations and concepts for the quiz. She had no problem whatsoever.

Tutoring review by Cyrus in Normandy Park, WA
The student goes to my undergraduate school. He has a physics quiz tomorrow for the standard introductory college physics course, and we went over specific problems on topics such as work and torque. I think he did well understanding the material, and we went over some general strategies on how to approach and analyze them. Our next session will be next Monday. I enjoyed working with him, and he's definitely a smart guy.

Tutoring review by George in Normandy Park, WA
The student and I worked first on the U-substitution method of integrating. She had recently covered the topic during class, and needed a bit of clarification on the best way on using the method in a general sense. Then we went over one of her old tests over application of differentiations that she was going to retake soon. We were able to work through each of the problems and find a manner to solve them that could be easily done again and again.
