The student is definitely making improvement. Today we started our studies on math. She did really well in geometry, which is impressive (most people don't remember any of it!). We also went over her English practice exam. She did much better! I don't have the exact score in front of me, but I think she got around a 29? It was really great, either way.

Today I helped the client with some homework covering factoring. The main topic was factoring by grouping. She already had a fair understanding of how to do it, but with some explanation she got very good at it. We also covered the factor theorem which involves synthetic division. She felt comfortable with synthetic division, but said she didn't understand the factor theorem. After demonstrating that the factor theorem is just an application of synthetic division, she quickly understood. The student did well on her midterm, scoring an 85, which brought her grade up. I feel she will only improve.
