Hi everyone! My name is Kylee. I'm a third year medical student who originally was interested in law, took the LSAT, and then decided to take the MCAT and go to medical school. I'm at an MD program in Pennsylvania. I'm very passionate about teaching and have tutored a lot over the years. I believe that practice problems are a huge part of learning that isn't taught well in high school/college level. I've worked with students with several different learning styles and who have reported learning difficulties. The thing I struggled with the most throughout school was the volume of information that we are often responsible for knowing. I've developed tons of tricks throughout my academic career to help with that. I'm super excited to meet you and hope that I can help you meet your academic goals!

I graduated from Jefferson University with a Bachelor's degree in science in Accounting. I volunteered in the learning Lab when I was at College to help students in Accounting and French to thank other tutors and teachers who were there when I needed help. Also, I have private clients in Mathematics, Economics, GED subjects and elementary school courses. In addition, I have experience working with students with disabilities. I am most passionate of teaching French, my native language, because I like to see students learning new language. Beside that, Accounting is a subject that I am always inspired to teach. Helping students and creating in them the inspiration to solve learning issues make me happy! I like to use many examples to demonstrate the courses for a good understanding of the subjects. I have been tutoring students of all ages for the past 10 years. In that time, I have learned that all students have a passion for learning. I am a PhD candidate at Thomas Jefferson University studying prostate cancer cell and molecular biology. I have always been fascinated by the way our world works. During my undergraduate career I experienced the joy of passing that knowledge to others through teaching assistantships in functional anatomy and leading workshops in general chemistry. I am a licensed occupational therapist and educator. I have over 10 years experience working with young adults- from teaching English to coaching students through the college admissions process. I went to Elizabetown College, where I studied English Secondary Education (6th-12th grades), Penn State for my master's in Higher Education Administration and College Student Development, and Thomas Jefferson University for my doctorate in occupational therapy. I currently teach ergonomics and social participation intervention courses at Jefferson, and I have extensive experience in English grammar and writing. I'm currently a research fellow in orthopedic surgery at Rothman Orthopedics, completing a gap year before matriculating to Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 2027. I earned my undergraduate degree at Penn State as part of the Penn StateSKMC 7-Year BS/MD Program, minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I scored a 1560 on the SAT and am also a certified EMT both experiences that sharpened how I break down complex material and stay calm and structured under pressure, which shapes how I tutor today. My passion for tutoring started with my own college application process, where I found essay writing and self-presentation genuinely exciting. That led me to start helping other students do the same. I founded my own college consulting practice, guiding students through brainstorming, drafting, and revising personal statements and supplemental essays to help them find an authentic voice rather than a generic one. I am currently employed as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in Philadelphia. I obtained my master's degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019, and my bachelor's degree from University of Delaware in 2018. I am extremely passionate, and have a longstanding love of pediatric OT, as I have been volunteering since I was 12 years old. Currently, my Master's capstone project on pediatric chronic pain interventions is being displayed in poster format at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association's annual conference, and I will be presenting in November at the Post Conference Institute on Children & Youth, as well as the Post Conference Institute on Fieldwork/Capstone Education.I love learning and I love sharing knowledge with others!

I've been both learning and teaching my whole life! My studies are interdisciplinary, and I have a love for both the creative and the analytical, so I'm available to tutor a wide variety of subjects. I'm currently wrapping up my Bachelor of Architecture and starting my Masters in Urban Design. I'm originally from eastern Europe, but grew up and went to school in New York. I've learned and taught in 3 different states, where I've gotten familiar with a wide variety of curriculums and standardized tests. I am currently a resident physician at Northwestern Hospital.My favorite part about teaching is trying to convey to my students how I think through a problem and adapting that to their learning process.
