About Me
As a dedicated tutor with a Master's degree in Disaster Medicine and Management and as a Physician Assistant with 29 years of experience in multiple fields, I am passionate about guiding students through the complexities of Life Sciences and Medical Terminology. With over 2 years of tutoring and classroom experience, I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. My approach emphasizes real-world applications and critical thinking, enabling students to connect theoretical concepts with practical scenarios. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring advancements in the medical field and engaging in community health initiatives, further enriching my teaching perspective.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy spending time with my family and my 3 dogs (an Irish Wolfhound,a Great Dane, and a rescued Greyhound!). I am currently teaching myself the bass guitar since I can’t find anyone to teach me because I’m left handed. I garden in the summer and care for my 13 chickens year round. I am an avid reader of fiction and all things disaster related!
