I graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in biology, and then obtained an MD (Doctor of Medicine) and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Structural Biology from Thomas Jefferson University. My favorite part about teaching is trying to convey to my students how I think through a problem and adapting that to their learning process. I think I am talented at helping people understand topics by explaining each step, as necessary, to demonstrate how to go about solving a problem. My education has provided me with expertise in the biological sciences, medicine, math, statistics, english, writing, and test preparation, among other subjects. I have experience teaching and tutoring people from elementary school through medical school and graduate school. I would be thrilled to help you achieve your goals!
