I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and Texas Tech University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood Education) and a Masters of Special Education with a focus on Autism (Autism Certificate). Since graduation, I have worked in a variety of settings with children from birth to 18 years with the majority of my experience as a teacher in public school general education/special education, Kindergarten-5th grade. While I have tutored a broad range of subjects and grade levels, I am most passionate about working with students who have special needs and who may not learn in the traditional manner. I love finding new and creative ways to reach every child, just where they are! Something I always try to do with the students I work with is to ignite a spark that makes them enthusiastic about learning. I strive to provide a solid foundation that creates a want for students to become lifelong learners. My hope is that every student I work with walks away feeling valued and inspired. In my spare time, you can find me immersed in a good book near any body of water, whether it be a pool, the river, or the beach.

My name is Bryan Lee, I am a student at Texas Tech University and my major is Biochemistry on the Pre-med track. I was born in Los Angeles but I was raised in Korea until high school. I graduated from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM. I like sports such as football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, and etc. I look forward to meeting students and helping them succeed.

My favorite part of tutoring is what I call the light bulb moments. These are the moments when a topic makes sense to a student, and if we were in a cartoon, a light bulb would appear over their head. And this is usually the moment when students believe that I don't have more talent in the subject that them; I simply have more practice. I graduated with my Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from Texas Tech University in 2011, and have tutored students in chemistry and math since 2002. In addition to tutoring, I have taught both as a TA and as an adjunct professor, at the University of Washington, Texas Tech, and the University of the Incarnate Word. I have taught chemistry labs (general, analytical, and nursing chemistry), general chemistry I and II, and first semester nursing chemistry. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, and walking. I am currently working on making my first bed size quilt and have completed the San Antonio Rock n Roll half marathon twice.

I am a student at the Texas Tech University working toward a degree in chemical engineering. After graduating from college, I plan to pursue a masters in the field of petroleum engineering. I have experience with tutoring since I was in high school; I founded a tutoring program at the Lee and Beulah Moor Home and I spent some time volunteering at this location. While I plan to tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about calculus and I particularly enjoy teaching others the basics of mathematics. I also have a lot of personal experience studying for standardized tests and I believe I have knowledge of strategies that would be helpful for any high school student preparing for the SAT/ACT. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing tennis, and hiking.

I'm a virtual science teacher with a passion for helping students in all things science. I have a B.S. in Biology from LCU and an M.S. in Wildlife Science from TTU. I've also completed some veterinary school at TAMU. I love all things biology, physics, and chemistry, and I enjoy sharing my passion with others. My favorite subject to tutor is biology, since that's where the vast majority of my education is, but I have taught physics and chemistry for years and enjoy tutoring those as well. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, teaching myself coding, and spending time with my dogs.

Voice/singing: I have taken private voice lessons for about 10 years. I also grew up participating in school choirs and theater. I have since been coaching people on different medias. My training is in classical and musical theater, but I also enjoy a variety of genres. History and study skills: As a student, I struggled with dyslexia and had to get help through tutoring and other support. I worked hard and accepted all the help that I could get. I was always surprised that I was on the honor roll despite my struggling. I started to notice that some of the best students also received assistance in their learning. Over time, I became one of the best students and was asked to tutor others. I learned that accepting help and aid wasn't weak, but was smart. Over the years I tested different ways of learning and studying to help me succeed. I now have a bachelors in history with a minor in anthropology, and I am earning my masters in museum studies. Other: I've worked for the Boy Scouts, teaching outdoor skills, such as climbing and archery. I have also interned with the Park Service, giving tours and ranger talks to visitors. I am very involved in the outdoors and love outdoor activities. I'm always willing to teach people about the outdoors, how to adventure safely and protect the natural environment and wildlife.
