My name is Jeffrey and I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have been tutoring my friends and family for as long as I can remember and I was able to gain more formal tutoring experience in college tutoring high schoolers in the local Chapel Hill area. I am very excited to help students in anyway that I can to achieve their academic goals.

My Number 1 tutoring goal is to ignite the passion for knowledge and learning inside of every student I have the opportunity to teach. Everyone has the potential to be a learner--it's all about having the tools and someone to believe in you to give you the confidence to try.

I am mechanical engineer with a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University. I will help you or your kids to UNDERSTAND equations, NOT to memorize them. If you understand an equation, you will never have to memorize it. I can help you improve your skills in math (pre-calculus,calculus, algebra, etc) and physics at a Middle and High School or University level.

My life has revolved around helping others with many subject areas of education. I follow the tenet that if a student isn't learning the way he or she is taught, then teach the way he or she learns. Learning should be a motivating experience and it is up to the teacher to make the content relevant and interesting.
