I wrote a 32 item "worked problems" for him to use as a reference. We went over his last test. We worked through the problems he missed and then worked the more difficult problems on his worksheet. He has a test next Thursday so for homework he should complete the remainder of problems on the worksheet and we will review them the day before his test.

This week we worked some more on her introduction to the field of geometry. I'm impressed by her ability to visualize various shapes in 3D, and I'm confident she'll ace her geometry at the end of the marking period.

Tutoring review by Lucianna in Old Hickory, TN
In our session today, the student and I continued working on grammar. We focused on modal verbs such as would, could, and should. We also completed many exercises that tested her comprehension. She did a great job and really cares about learning. We also began reviewing her resume; I corrected any grammatical errors, but we are going to spend more time with it during our next lesson. I also gave her homework, which was to prepare something written teaching me how to do something that she knows how to do. I asked her to use the words that we focused on in our session. In this way, she will be able to think out how to use them properly; completing exercises like these will benefit her when she is speaking on her own.

Today, we looked over the student's second test. The questions were quite complicated and required some side research to understand what the teacher was asking for. The problems consisted of multiple concepts at once or extrapolating concepts from the book in 2-d to 3-d. We will continue to go over the test at our next session.
