Tutoring review by Jennifer in Leonard, OK
Today, we began the session by working on a few math lessons/assignments about graphing parabolas. These lessons seemed easy to the student, as he had no difficulty and not many questions on the material. Following Math, we worked on and English assignment that involved researching facts on Wars that America has been involved in throughout history. I also helped him plan out the rest of the work that he should be completing today. Additionally, I helped him plan out all of the work he should be doing each day for the remainder of this week as well as next week.

Reviewed and practiced factoring when a>1, using the box method, and factoring by grouping. The student now seems very comfortable with the material. We also reviewed factoring special cases, but I am going to email the student a worksheet with some practice questions & answers to review before test day.
