How much does Varsity Tutors cost for students in Golden?

A college student at Colorado Christian University who is preparing for the LSAT or the MCAT will likely pay a different rate per tutoring session than a first-grader who needs to improve their basic math skills or their reading comprehension. A student who needs ongoing instruction over several weeks or months might also pay a lower rate per lesson than someone who only needs a few test prep sessions before taking the GMAT.

Tutoring review by Stephanie in Golden, CO
I'm really impressed with how great of a student he is. I think that will really help a lot as we work to turn his grade around. Today's session was great. He had gone through his homework problems and highlighted the ones he didn't understand so that we could work on those together. The homework was over parallel lines and he seemed to do better with identifying useful congruent pairs as we went. We're meeting again after school on Wednesday.

Tutoring review by Lorna in Golden, CO
In our first session we discussed the basics of the SAT (timing, length etc.), the amount of studying she should do on her own, the best approach to studying vocabulary, and how to do practice the most effectively. Then we went over techniques for Sentence Completions and did several sections together, then did the same for the Reading Comprehension. Her scores from the practice test were in the 400s, so hopefully we will be able to bring them up in this month before the test.
