What will be covered during the Tucson SAT course?
There are four sections on the SAT, including the optional Essay section. The required sections of the SAT include Math, Reading, Writing and Language, and the optional Essay. Other than the optional Essay, all of the other questions are multiple choice. For the three required sections, you will have 3 hours to finish. You will be given an additional 50 minutes if you opt to take the Essay section. A Tuscon SAT course can touch on the wide range of skills you will need to reach for a high score on the exam. We will now take an in-depth look at each section and the types of questions you can expect to find in each.
The Reading portion will ask you to read written passages and answer questions to test how well you comprehend the material. You have 65 minutes to answer 52 questions. The passages range from historical U.S. documents to contemporary writings, and you will also be presented with scientific passages. To perform well in this section, you will have to analyze the writings and draw your own conclusions.
The Math section consists of 58 multiple choice questions that you must answer within the allotted 80 minutes. This section is made up of two parts. One will ask you to use a calculator to solve problems, and the other will require you to forego a calculator. The topics you will be asked about include linear equations and data analysis. This sections will test your ability to understand math concepts and apply your understanding to solve problems.
The Writing and Language section gives you 62 minutes to answer 31 multiple choice questions. Similar to the Reading section, you will be presented with written passages. Some of the passages will include tables and charts that you will have to use to find the correct answers. Many of the questions will test your command of English by asking you to correct improper grammar and identify syntax errors.
The optional SAT Essay gives you 50 minutes to answer one essay question. The question will be based on a written passage which you must first read and analyze. Your essay will have to address the author's argument and the persuasive techniques the writer utilizes to make their claim. You will have to support your analysis by citing the written passage. This section is meant to evaluate your aptitude in reading comprehension, analyzing others' ideas, and writing a well-organized essay that conveys the proper tone throughout the piece.

I am here to help and motivate you! If there is a desire, there is a way!...
