In my free time I like to travel with my husband who is from Brazil. I am trilingual; I do speak English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. My educational philosophical beliefs include equal opportunity for all by creating unity and forming positive relationships. My college professor would say if we can't reach them we can't teach them. On a daily basis, it is important for me as an educator to reach and meet all my students' needs by promoting a diverse, collaborative and sound environment. I am an exercise science student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a yoga instructor, and a personal trainer. I tutor yoga, science, nutrition and study skills. I love to learn, and I cannot wait to share my passion with you! I have benefitted from quality tutoring myself, and I hope to be able to help many other students succeed. I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Psychology, and I worked as a high school math teacher for two years before switching to one-on-one tutoring.
