I am also a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where I received my Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Upon graduating, I embarked on an educational journey that has allowed me teach a wide variety of subjects over the past 22 years. I have tutored numerous students in the fields of Social Studies, English-Language Arts, and in SAT test preparation sessions, for the reading component of the exam. I have always enjoyed working with my students in both a traditional classroom, and online setting, and I have always strived to incorporate elements of my students' personal likes and hobbies into the elements of my instructional design, to help make learning more engaging and efficient. I am a firm believer in the power of education, as I see it as a means for helping us shape our future in an effort to make our society better. I coached varsity football for 26 years, and still coach Freshman girls basketball, and in my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, working out, and watching sports.
