I have a master's degree in physics with research emphasis in astrophysics from San Francisco State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in physics and astronomy with a minor in math. Currently I am an adjunct instructor at Mesa Community College teaching astrophysics courses. I have four years of teaching experience in astronomy and physics lab courses at San Francisco State University. I am highly qualified to teach Physics and Chemistry and I have over 8 years' experience teaching Physics (AP curriculum), Chemistry and AP Chemistry. Science, like math, builds upon itself, so a concept missed early in the year can cause problems throughout the rest of the year if it is not addressed. I can explain problems from various angles to incorporate the learning style of student. I also have many memory aids that can help a student to be able to keep information straight. Most of all, I am patient and don't mind covering information multiple times because the goal is to really understand the material, not to learn it in as little time as possible.
