Statistics Tutoring review by Kevin in Madison, WI
We finished covering material from Exam 2 including two proportion and two mean tests. We went over how to distinguish if confidence intervals or hypothesis testing should be used when approaching a problem. By the end of the session, we had started going over new material that the student was learning in class. She did a great job of picking the material up and we will be continuing with chi-squared testing. The student was doing a much better job of picking up the material and has not been struggling with most concepts after they are explained. The student had a fantastic attitude towards the material and has been putting in a lot of time outside of tutoring sessions to practice.

Statistics Tutoring review by Nick in Madison, WI
We tried to cover study skills and z scores. He was taught the simpler and quicker way to go through the books as he struggled to read the whole chapter (as would I). We had planned to review the old material while progressing into the new material in the next session. I hope that he gets a professor who can inspire him in the future.
