If you're interested in taking a Portland NCLEX course, then the easiest way to get started with one is by reaching out to us directly. You can also read on to get a more in-depth look at the NCLEX and how a course can help you get ready to take it.
What content is covered in a Portland NCLEX class?
The NCLEX was developed and is administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, Inc. (NCSBN). There are actually two versions of the exam, the NCLEX-RN and the NCLEX-PN. The specific version of the exam that you decide to take will vary depending on what your professional goals are. Individuals who pass either test will earn a nursing license. Earning a nursing license is an excellent way to jumpstart your career. Still, both versions of the NCLEX can be challenging to prepare for without any guidance. Signing up for a prep class is an excellent way to get an expert's assistance as you study for the NCLEX.
You'll take your exam on a computer that adapts the difficulty of the questions it asks you based on the accuracy of your previous responses. There is a maximum time limit of 6 hours for the NCLEX-RN and one of 5 hours for the NCLEX-PN. You'll be tested on your knowledge of subject areas and professional practices that are essential knowledge for entry-level nurses. This is a list of topics that includes health promotion and maintenance, caring for patients, the nursing process, communication with patients, and creating a safe and effective care environment, among other things. You'll also need to have a strong understanding of core topics in the physical, biological, and social sciences while taking the NCLEX.
What are the benefits of enrolling in a Portland NCLEX prep course?
Courses are an extremely effective way to prepare for the NCLEX. This is true for a few key reasons. First, they replicate the traditional classroom learning environment in a more convenient online setting. This means you can get all of the benefits of classroom education from the comfort of your home, or from anywhere else you have a stable internet connection. Courses take place on a powerful virtual learning platform that connects you directly with an experienced educator and a group of classmates that you'll learn alongside.
Your instructor will teach you all through a series of live lectures that focus on the topics that you need to know before sitting down to take the NCLEX. Throughout this process, you'll be able to see, hear, and interact with your teacher the whole time. You can even interact with the other students in your class in a number of ways. This creates a collaborative learning environment that is truly optimized for academic growth. If you're having a hard time fully understanding some of the topics that are covered in your Portland NCLEX class, you can even sign up to speak individually with your teacher. Doing this will give you the chance to review the NCLEX's most challenging content with an expert. You'll be able to get personalized feedback and guidance where you need it most through some individualized instruction.
Classes are also an extremely flexible learning option. There are a number of different options that you can sign up for, which each meet at different times throughout the week. This variety makes it easy to find an option that you can fit into your schedule without making too many sacrifices. You can contact us directly if you'd like some help finding the best class option for your scheduling needs.
How can I get started?
The NCLEX is an important exam that requires a strong test preparation process. Instead of studying on your own, why not get started with a Portland NCLEX course? You'll be able to learn from and interact with an expert educator if you sign up for a course. The quickest way to get started with this unique test preparation supplement is to contact Varsity Tutors today. We'd love to help you pursue your NCLEX goals with more confidence and hope to hear from you soon.

Well, not the cows, but THEY taught ME a lot about patience. When I left dairy work for health reasons, my cousin suggested substitute teaching. Then a little third grade boy in a special needs class (my...
