Varsity Tutors is there to help you if you are looking for an Orlando NCLEX prep course. We can enroll those who are looking into becoming Registered Nurses (RNs) or those who are looking into becoming Practical Nurses (PNs) in NCLEX classes that are taught by professional mentors who have familiarity with the test's formatting style as well as the content itself. No matter if you have been studying at the University of Central Florida or the Valencia College, or any other educational program, we understand you've probably been putting in a lot of work. By enrolling in an online course, you can get a comprehensive overview of the concepts of the NCLEX that is not only convenient but can help you feel more confident about taking this test.
What kind of topics are covered by an Orlando NCLEX course?
The National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX, is an exam that will test your knowledge on four main categories. These include Physiological Integrity, Psychosocial Integrity, Health Promotion and Maintenance, and Safe and Effective Care Environment. All four of these main sections will test your knowledge on the concepts in order to make sure you are able to provide professional and quality care to patients who will come in at various ages. Depending on if you are an RN or PN candidate, the questions within each of the categories will vary. For example, only an RN will be tested on Parental Therapies. Only a PN will be tested on Coordinated Care.
Your class instructor will cover more than just the content that will be on the exam. They will also help you develop effective test-taking strategies for the NCLEX. This test is computer adaptive which means every time you answer a question, it will determine what question is asked next. The NCLEX is also a long test where PN candidates will undergo the exam for up to five hours and an RN candidate will be tested for up to six hours. This can seem like a long time, but it can feel very fast if you aren't prepared for keeping a consistent pace. Your mentor can help explain some of the methods for taking a computer adaptive exam and offer techniques for increasing how fast you answer questions if you realize that you're going too slow.
What benefits will enrolling in an Orlando NCLEX class provide?
The guidance that is provided in a class when you are studying for your NCLEX can offer some benefits that you wouldn't find when studying by yourself. You will undergo a full review of the content that the test covers. Your instructor can host discussions about the Client Needs categories and subcategories including how to best facilitate acquiring knowledge, skills, and abilities that will best promote changes in behavior in patients. Your mentor may also decide to place your class in smaller groups so they can assign in-class projects that can help you learn about Basic Care and Comfort, Biological Sciences, or other bodies of knowledge.
Working as a class is a great way to engage with others so you can review and reinforce the covered test materials. It can also help you practice new, effective studying techniques. An Orlando NCLEX class can provide you with a lot of different chances to study along with other people who have decided to become RNs or PNs. You can work together to get help from other classmates or even speak up and aid other students who aren't understanding an issue that you comprehend.
If you are concerned that you won't have time to take a class, you can enjoy the extra convenience that comes from an online NCLEX class. You don't have to commute to a physical place. If you have a stable internet connection, you can partake in the classes wherever you feel most comfortable, while interacting with other students and your mentor through video chat, and an online whiteboard. You can also ask for some one-on-one studying time with your instructor if you feel like you need extra help in understanding a topic, such as Safety and Infection Control.
