LSAT Tutoring review by Michael in Simi Valley, CA
Tonight we talked about basic timing strategies for each section of the test and went over the student's prior test prep. We went over grouping games, including the contrapositive for more complex if/then statements. I recommended that she develop flashcards to master the contrapositive, as she is very likely to encounter it on test day. She already has some skills and was quick to learn the concepts and apply them. I recommended working on practicing under test conditions and will continue to work on test strategies so that she can get her best score on test day. Between now and next time, she is going to do a full practice test to see where she is right now.

We began with a preview of RC, and worked through a couple passages together, then practiced LG for the rest of the session, with emphasis on sequencing games and making all of our inferences up front.

LSAT Tutoring review by Rebecca in Simi Valley, CA
We began with reading comprehension; this is still the section the student struggles with the most. She is getting better at actively reading the passage and selects the correct main points, but sometimes has a hard time finding the right answer through the information surrounding these points. I gave her one of the hardest logic games I've yet seen, and she not only got it completely correct but did it in exactly the allotted time. Logical reasoning is improving as well. Before next week's session, I will email her a practice test to take so we can track how her scores are improving.

LSAT Tutoring review by Seida in Simi Valley, CA
We completed our discussion of Chapter 3 of the Logic Games prep book and reviewed each of the games in that chapter, as well as a number of basic linear games in the Logic Games Game Type book. The student's template construction is absolutely excellent. He will definitely be able to master this section with practice. Homework is to continue working through the Logic Games book and the corresponding games in the Game Type book.

We continued to focus on LSAT logic games for the most part. Definitely still seeing the improvement, which is great news! Thanks!

LSAT Tutoring review by Scott in Simi Valley, CA
We continued with intensive review of Logic Games and Logical Reasoning, doing several logic games and focusing on hypothetical usage and pick order. For Logical Reasoning, we did several problems from online resources, focusing on question types that the student had difficulty with.
