Understand the tools a student has at his/her disposal, adjust my teaching methods to accommodate their abilities, help them approach their seemingly big problem, and guide them to chipping away at it to not only find the answer within, but to learn the concepts they can add to their toolbox to approach future problems when I am not with them.
