Today we covered his test from last week and the practice exam for his final next week. We are meeting again, and I want to cover some topics with more explanation (such as rationalizing the denominator). However, other topics such as foil and solving for x, he excels at. I feel he will be well prepared by next Monday for the test next week.

The student presented a data set which she wanted to conduct nonparametric within subjects analysis on. I provided her with tests of skewness and kurtosis to show that her data was normally distributed and that parametric tests could be conducted. I showed her how to use Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test, a Paired T test, and linear regression analysis. We also discussed the use of logistic regression for a future session.

We primarily covered bonds payable. The student is a very serious and intelligent student. He had the overall concepts and only needed help with some of the more specific items. I encouraged him to recalculate some of the line items on the journal entries as they relate to prior journal entries as a double check on the test.
