Hi! My name is Gabrielle and I am excited about the opportunity to tutor. I have always loved learning and am pursuing higher education currently. I have always succeeded academically- graduating salutatorian of my high school, summa cum laude from Mercer University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, and currently at Texas A&M College of Medicine pursuing a masters in engineering and MD. I have tutored a lot in the past individually and as a supplemental instructor in areas such as algebra and calc based physics, biology, chemistry, and calculus.

I am a current student at Texas A&M pursuing a degree in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology. I have grown up with siblings, always helping them with their homework or subjects they didn't understand. Additionally, I volunteered at an elementary school library for an extensive amount of time where I interacted with the kids and helped run lesson plans. Now, I am looking to start tutoring as a part-time job while I do school, and am excited to do so. I believe learning should be fun and open, kids should feel like they can ask any question no matter how wrong they may feel they are about the subject. I like to make good friendships with my students to encourage them to be open with me but also have fun while learning.
Hello! My name is Erin! I am so excited to start working with your child! I have a Bachelors's degree in Health Education and a Masters's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership. I am certified to teach early childhood through 5th grade, ESL certified, and I have my principal certification. I have been teaching for 17 years, and I am currently an ESL Specialist Teacher in Texas! I have taught Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade as a classroom teacher. I have also been an interventionist in both reading and math for students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. I cannot wait to meet your child and have fun while learning.
Howdy! My name is Karthik, and I look forward to meeting you. I've been tutoring for over 10 years, and am excited to give you the tools to achieve success! I've seen it all, from frustrated parents who need their 8 year old to learn how to read, to high school/college students just needing a grade boost to pass a class, to retirees who finally have enough time to pick up that language they never got around to. I've personally taken courses on, passed tests for, and used the knowledge in real life for all the subjects I tutor, so I know not just how to learn, but also how to apply. If you'd like to get your personlized gameplan to never need tutoring again, help me help you and book a session today!
I received my Bachelors in Biology from Sul Ross State University in Alpine Texas and my Master's and Doctorate from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. I am a firm believer in education and understand that learning can open windows to the world. I have extensive experience teaching at the college level and enjoy the interactions with students interested in learning and understanding new material. I look forward to supporting students desire to learn.
Hello, my name is Seth! I am a biologist who studies ecology and endangered species. I am a M.S. candidate in biology at TAMU-Commerce. For my thesis, I will be collaborating with faculty and other students investigating population distributions, habitat use, and community ecology surrounding Etheostoma radiosum, the orange bellied darter. Previous to this, I have lived in Alabama where I have worked with endangered species across the state in conservation and community ecology efforts. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Alabama as a double major in biology and earth systems sustainability in December of 2020! My tutoring style is very student need oriented. I don't like bogging people down with information they already clearly have a good grasp of. I like letting students (when they are comfortable) start leading the conversations about subject material as it helps build confidence and reinforces content.
I have over 30 years of experience teaching in public elementary schools. I am a certified general ed., special ed., and ESL teacher. I believe that confidence and self-esteem are crucial to success. I encourage students to set and reach goals. My teaching style is to engage students in the lessons. I work to provide a safe and inviting environment where students feel comfortable answering questions and sharing ideas.
Growing up surrounded by educators, I developed a deep appreciation for learning, but as a first generation college graduate, I know there are plenty of challenges while navigating education. My family instilled a love for research and exploration, so I naturally leaned into teaching science. I taught IB Biology for 3 years and enjoyed helping students understand complex concepts and develop their own intellectual curiosity. I also offered tutoring for Math during this time, supervised multiple IB Extended Essays, and took on a summer English teaching position. I strive to create a supportive and understanding environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking risks. Empathy plays a big role in my teaching style: education doesn't live in a vacuum that isn't impacted by family, friends, health, hobbies, or time. My goal is to not only help students achieve their academic goals but to also foster a sustainable, lifelong passion for learning.
A graduate of Texas A&M University...WHOOP! I have taught high school math for many years, and particularly enjoy Geometry! I like to help people discover the practical applications as math exists all around us!
I believe all students in the arts have potential and it is my job as the tutor to help the student unlock all aspects of their potential!
Having great teachers has really made a difference in my life by inspiring me to pursue certain subjects more than others, eventually leading to me choosing my major. I hope I am able to make this change for someone and eventually inspire them to pursue a certain subject.
I graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2012, and by 2013 I was living in Chicago working as a consulting developer, helping create software for clients around the country. I also volunteered with organizations like Girls Who Code and First Bytes at UT Austin in my spare time. However, by 2015 I realized that the work I did with students was much more satisfying to me and decided to switch to teaching full time. I've now taught AP courses, CTE courses, and even Elementary programming courses in a wide range of languages. I truly believe that everyone benefits from basic computer literacy, and really enjoy helping students understand computer logic as well as helping with programming projects. It's one of my favorite things to see my students' satisfaction when they've finally figured out a bug and have their code running smoothly! I like to challenge myself by learning new languages and I've even participated in a few Game Jams!
I love teaching English, I have 24 years of experience teaching children and adults from around the world.

Teaching isn't just a profession for me; it's my true calling. There's something truly fulfilling about unraveling the wonders of science and guiding others towards understanding its complexities. These three subjects, math, chemistry, and biology, are not just my favorite subjects to tutor; they are my passion. I have found that I possess an innate ability to excel in these areas, and more importantly, I have a knack for translating complex concepts into simple and relatable terms. As a tutor, my ultimate goal is your success.
I'm an observer and listener. Many times I have discovered new insights and explanations to nature phenomena by watching and listening. My personal mantra is not who or what you are today, but the journey taken to get to where you are today.
I am a first-year student at Texas A&M University, working towards a major in biology and a minor in computer science on a pre-medicine track. My career aspirations drive me to love learning science and math, and I have taken a wealth of such courses in high school and college, ending with top grades in all of them. I have been tutoring friends around me in various science and math subjects for years, and I wish to make a lasting impact by tutoring those outside of my circle. I value being able to effectively communicate with others and hope to facilitate interactions on a student-student level, being a college student myself. Learning does not come from gaining answers but by finding them yourself, which is why I have students actively participate in solving all sorts of problems. Every student has their own unique way of learning different concepts, and a good teacher must help them discover what it is. One of the greatest feelings hits you when your tutee feels confident about a topic in which they used to feel lost. Outside of my academics, I am a member of the student-run emergency care team on campus. I also love getting involved in various cultural activities and events.

Whether it's academic tutoring or language learning, I strive to create a nurturing and exciting environment where students can thrive and build confidence.

My name is Jay Park and I believe education is most effective when it bridges the gap between theory and real world application, which is why my teaching style is entirely efficiency focused. I cut the fluff to prioritize deep understanding and effective practice, helping students move beyond passive consumption to genuine competency. By breaking down complex topics into a step by step process, I can make sure that each student can build solid fundamentals in math. I also tailor my teaching style to accommodate each student, as each person learns a little differently. Some people prefer more theory and practical applications, while others prefer more quantitative repetition.
I have been in education since 2004. I received my undergraduate at Texas A&M University in biomedical science and then went on to get my Masters at University of Houston-Clear Lake in education. I was a classroom teacher for many years teaching 1st for 5 years and then a year of each of the following 2nd, PK3/PK4, 1st/2nd combo. I then became a dyslexia/intervention teacher teaching dyslexia to K-8th grade and intervention for the same grades for math, science and ELA/reading. From there I moved into a director position and had the privilege of teaching other teachers. I am passionate about teaching reading so that students have a strong foundation. I love math and science and you will always find me with a book just in case I have a few minutes. I love to learn and love helping others discover that they can love to learn. My approach is not one size fits all. Let's chat, allow me to see what you know/struggle with and then we will dive in from there. I teach in a judgement free zone and aim to connect with each individual so that we can work together in a comfortable, safe setting where any question can be asked and academic conversations flow freely.

Being a student is a full time job itself for any child or adult. It is hard enough to constantly absorb knowledge, while trying to keep up with your daily life! Not to mention not everyone learns the same way. I would like to be the bridge between you and your academic success. I am very patient, understanding, and more than anything, willing to help you! I am willing to adjust any method to teach you based on your learning style and help you even in the smallest of concepts.
I love to learn, which makes me love to teach even more! I want us to learn and engage together as we explore subjects in fun ways to increase learning and get excited together! I believe that learning means getting hands-on, and we are all always learning. Being inquisitive helps us figure things out, and we can learn through real world examples that help us really understand what we are learning in the classroom!
I'm a native Houstonian and received my BS from Sam Houston State University and my MPSA from Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service. My mother was my first and most important teacher. I was home schooled until high-school and I'm sure I was not always the easiest student to teach. However, she never gave up on me and without her guidance and dedication I would never have succeeded in my high-school years and later when pursuing my higher-education. I've always been passionate about education and love the moment when students begin to ask questions or finally master a concept. I currently work for an education non-profit that focuses on college persistence with high-school students. I believe that all students have their own unique potential and passion to learn. It is important to tap into each individual students talent, help them excel, and make sure every student has the tools and opportunity to succeed at their goals.
My name is Taylor Malm, and I graduated from Texas A&M University with BA in English. I am currently working on getting my teaching certification to be able to teach High School English and eventually get my Masters and PhD to become a professor. I have had experience working with students of all age groups throughout my college career. I enjoy tutoring and teaching because I love helping people understand and learn new things that will help them in different ways throughout their life. I first found out that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 5th grade because of the impact my Language Arts teacher had on me. She was able to not only get me into wanting to read more, not just for school but also on my free time; but she was also able to help me break out of my shell and not be so shy and hesitant when it came to meeting and interacting with my classmates. I would like to be able to help and make the same impact with my students regardless of it is through teaching or tutoring. I believe that both the learning and social impact of school is important for students in the long run.Besides tutoring and teaching, I also enjoy Art. In my free time I like to paint, which helps me relieve any stress that I may have going on at the time. I also enjoy going to Art museums and any other kind of museums. Like mentioned before, I do read a lot on my free time. The past year I was employed at a school district as a permanent substitute for a 6th grade reading and writing class.
