I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Elementary Education with certifications in English PK-8 and English as a Second Language. My online tutoring sessions are interactive and engaging. I have provided one-on-one and small-group tutoring. I have used various techniques and resources, such as interactive games, worksheets, videos, and online platforms, to make lessons exciting, productive, and engaging for students. I have helped students with homework and quizzes and preparing for the State Examinations. My teaching philosophy is based on understanding each student's needs and goals and designing the tutoring session to address the specific or personalized learning plan that suits their learning style and pace. Communication with families is critical. I collaborate with parents and classroom teachers to ensure progress and learning goals are met. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with my students. I graduated from Prairie View A &M University with a Master of Education with a focus on Guidance and Counseling. Received a Bachelor of Science from Texas Southern University in Education with a concentration in Psychology. I have worked as a teacher, counselor, and program support specialist in Public Schools since 1977. Holds certification as English as a Second Language Instructor. Teaching is my passion. I love to support, motivate and empower students to become successful and reach their academic potential. Exploring reading through the eyes of the writer has encouraged me to become an avid reader. Writing allows me to express what is lying dormant in the soul awaiting for the moment to be released through pencil and paper. I am a published author and wrote my first book on Bullying.

I am a current student at Prairie View A&M University where I am working towards my nursing degree. My end goal is to become a nurse anesthetist which does involve a lot of math. I am extremely excited to help anyone I can understand what they need. My subjects are elementary and middle school level english and math which I have tutored students in these subjects before in different settings. I also help with college math, college algebra.

I served as Mathematics/Science Education instructor on the post secondary level, did consulting specializing in supplemental education solutions for Mathematics, Science, and STEM, taught and tutored within schools, and lead a district charter managing multiple campuses.Although my work experience has been mostly face to face, with groups of dynamic teachers, passionate principals, and students that are sponges for content, I am looking to expand the populations I serve.
