Received a Bachelor of Science from Texas Southern University in Education with a concentration in Psychology. I have worked as a teacher, counselor, and program support specialist in Public Schools since 1977. Holds certification as English as a Second Language Instructor. Teaching is my passion. I love to support, motivate and empower students to become successful and reach their academic potential. Exploring reading through the eyes of the writer has encouraged me to become an avid reader. Writing allows me to express what is lying dormant in the soul awaiting for the moment to be released through pencil and paper. I am a published author and wrote my first book on Bullying.

My branch was Infantry and served for a total of 7 years between the Reserves and Active Duty. I am a current student at Prairie View A&M University where I am working towards my nursing degree. My end goal is to become a nurse anesthetist which does involve a lot of math. I am extremely excited to help anyone I can understand what they need. My subjects are elementary and middle school level english and math which I have tutored students in these subjects before in different settings. I also help with college math, college algebra.
