I truly believe I was called to become a teacher and for so long, I ran from this. After finally learning that I could motivate the minds and create hope for students in the classroom as well as in life, I have made it my priority to touch as many lives as I possibly can. I taught for 4 years and realized that I have to make a greater impact and reach those that aren't getting their needs met, and now work with an educational nonprofit, and making strides daily to close the achievement gaps.

I absolutely love working out, running to be exact. I love to curl up on the couch with a good book and let my imagination take me to new worlds.
