As an aspiring educator and future speech-language pathologist, I am deeply passionate about supporting children in their learning journeys. Currently working as a substitute teacher, I have had the privilege of stepping into a variety of classrooms and seeing firsthand how different teaching styles, environments, and approaches can impact a child's educational experience. This exposure has fueled my desire to further my education and ultimately pursue a career in speech pathology, where I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by helping them overcome communication barriers. My time as a substitute teacher has been invaluable in shaping my understanding of how diverse student needs are, both in terms of academic and emotional support. I have learned that effective teaching is not one-size-fits-all; it requires adaptability, empathy, and patience. Whether it is a child struggling with reading, a student who needs extra help with social skills, or a class with varied learning levels, I have consistently worked to engage each student in ways that foster both their intellectual and personal growth. I am inspired by the small, incremental successes each child achieves, and this motivates me to continue honing my skills in education. While I have found deep fulfillment in the classroom, my interest in speech pathology emerged from my observation of how speech and communication challenges can profoundly affect a child's ability to succeed academically and socially. I am driven by the belief that all children, regardless of their challenges, should have the opportunity to express themselves, understand others, and fully engage in the learning process. Through my work as a substitute teacher, I've witnessed firsthand how speech and language difficulties can create roadblocks to academic success and peer relationships. This has sparked my desire to not only help children learn but to empower them with the communication tools they need to thrive in all aspects of life. I am excited about the opportunity to be part of a tutor program where I can continue developing my skills in education while also gaining more insight into how specialized programs, such as speech therapy, support children with diverse needs. This program aligns with my goal of combining a strong foundation in teaching with the specialized knowledge I plan to gain in speech pathology, ensuring that I can offer students a holistic approach to learning and growth. I believe that by making a difference in how children communicate, I can help create lasting positive impacts in their academic journeys and beyond. Ultimately, my goal is to earn a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and become a professional who not only helps children overcome speech and language challenges but also advocates for their broader needs in educational settings. I am committed to making a difference, one child at a time, and I am eager to further develop my skills as an educator and speech pathologist through this program.

I've been an admissions counselor for the past 15 years and it's been an honor to help students achieve their educational goals. My ambition though is to prepare students for college and/or University through writing/english. I hold two graduate degrees, one in Humanities and the other in Visual Arts. I'm working towards becoming an Art History Professor for a College or University. It's never too late to do what you love! I love writing about art and inspiring others! In my Visual Arts degree I concentrated in Photography and I'm more than happy to teach you the basics and help you create an online portfolio. My main emphasis with Tutoring is English as it is an important part of everyday life. You need writing to even apply for a job and express yourself confidently. English is important for writing a story, persuading, informing, or educating. You'll never know what others have to say or be able to express yourself otherwise. I also hold a Bachelors in Business Administration and can also help with business writing. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for help in writing, grammar, citation, or anything with english or business related.

Ever since seventh grade, I have always wanted to be a math teacher. My seventh grade math teacher, inspired me to be like her. Before I took her class, I was not good at math. In third grade, I barely passed math with a D, and I had to go to summer school, but that didn't do much for me. My teacher made math seem very fun and interesting. Her metaphors and examples, also, made math easier to understand and follow. When I finished taking her class in seventh grade, I felt smart and confident. The feelings that I felt were so wonderful that I felt I needed to pass it on. I want to teach/tutor math because I want my future students to feel what my teacher made me feel; confidence. Students need to be more confident in math, but in order to make them feel that way, you have to teach using fun learning strategies. I want to create more interactive exercises that make math even more fun and easy to understand. My goal in life is to make children more confident in their mathematics.
