I began my academic career shortly after graduating from high school and received my Associate in Science degree in Court Reporting Technology in 1992. I continued at Miami Dade College and upgraded my AS degree to an Associate in Arts degree, graduating in 1998. This would open the doors to getting into Florida Atlantic University. At FAU, I worked on my undergraduate degree in Psychology, and graduated in 2004. While attending classes at FAU, I taught in the classrooms with the public-school systems. With much faith, perseverance, and a steadfast attitude, I continued to pursue my calling to teach, I became a certified teacher, and attended graduate school! I am a successful graduate of the Inaugural class with a Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Early and Middle Childhood Education, from the Adrian Dominican School of Education at Barry University. I proudly graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2013 from Barry University. I stayed teaching in the Public School system for approximately 10 + years.
