I am a graduate of Brandeis University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. I am now a first-year pharmacy student at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University, and I am currently working toward my Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. During college, I was a teaching assistant for the introductory psychology course, and I have tutored English to students of all ages, mostly high school students. I tutor English, Biology, and Psychology (with a possibility of tutoring SAT Critical Reading and Writing). I am very passionate about biology, and for me, biology is the most fun to tutor. However, because I take many science courses at school, it is especially nice to tutor non-science courses such as English and psychology, subjects that I also really enjoyed throughout high school and college. As a current student, I understand how some subjects can be extremely overwhelming. I believe that one way to strengthen one's understanding of a topic is to take a step backward and reinforce the knowledge of prior topics. My goal is to help students understand the basics before moving onto more complicated topics. In addition, I would like to help students foster an appreciation for education and to understand why they are learning these subjects. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing basketball, seeing Broadway musicals, going to concerts, and watching movies (particularly Pixar/Disney and Marvel/DC movies!)

I believe you should choose me as your tutor because I will set goals and action plans to make sure you understand what you need to know for the NAPLEX and/or MPJE exam.
As a pharmacy student with degrees in biology and psychology, I find immense satisfaction in guiding students through my journey from obtaining a GED to pursuing pharmacy. My tutoring spans various subjects, with a focus on the GED, sciences, and mathematics from my college studies. I'm passionate about empowering students with effective study strategies and insights from my experiences. I prioritize creating a supportive learning atmosphere, fostering curiosity, and instilling confidence. Beyond academics, I dedicate time to personal growth and exploration. My expertise in multiple-choice exams, honed throughout my schooling, adds value to my tutoring approach.
"To make things simple, but not simpler." By Albert Einstein. My goal is to be an expert at what I do, spread knowledge, influence others with good values and compassion. As a tutor at Varsity, I am honored to use my best knowledge, use analogs to help students to learn in a simple and more memorable way, to help them pass the NAPLEX exam in the next try, and become a healthcare professional that will serve for the better health/well-being of patients.
I am a hospital pharmacist living in Anchorage, and working up in Barrow, AK. I graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a doctorate in Pharmacy in 2020, scoring in the 3 digits on the NAPLEX after a month of intense and strategic studying. I believe that students learn best when they are engaged and focused in what they have learned. There will always be gaps in knowledge, and I want to help you fill those gaps and provide assistance in passing your NAPLEX.
