My approach to tutoring is to teach the concepts in a simplistic manner and reinforcing the concepts while adding difficulty through effective practice problems. In my free time, I have recently found myself reading, working out, drawing, and spending time with my siblings.

I ask them to defend their answers which teaches them that the correct response is often less important than the reasoning used to reach said response. I honestly believe that anyone can learn anything given enough time and patience. I try my best to not only be a teacher but also a role model to my students and to interact with them as people not just clients....

I've always known I wanted to teach. Once I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology/Neuroscience, I decided to pursue a Masters degree in Education. I love working with classrooms full of students, but I also love working with people one-on-one. I find that when the tutor has a chance to zero in on and accommodate a students' individual needs and learning style, the experience becomes more productive and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Before I decided to major in International Relations and French, I was accepted to university as an Environmental Science major! I love to travel, and have been to almost 30 countries! I have lived in Ireland, France, the USA and Nigeria. Outside of education, my hobbies are mostly outdoor activities. I love camping, hiking, running, kayaking, and rock climbing. I love food.
