Experienced tutor and recent college graduate (4.0 GPA) with over six years and 400 hours of experience under my belt. I have tutored ages 8 to 22 and I am happy to help with anything listed on my profile!

My goal as a tutor is to turn confusion into confidence. I love when I can see a student's face light up as they begin to understand a concept that previously stumped them.

My main objective is to be a personable tutor. I want to accomplish meeting the needs of students. One way I plan to meet their needs will be by figuring out and capitalizing off of their learning style. I don't just want to help students earn a better grade; more importantly I want to help them gain a true understanding of the material their learning.

My hobbies are doing art projects in paint, mosaics, paper collages; creating "less is more" poetry like acrostics and haiku; and doing creative fiction writing challenges. Other interests are reading memoirs and some fiction writers like Alice Walker, Isabel Allende, Garrison Keillor, and Elizabeth Gilbert and others. I also participate in Powerstories Theatre activities that include raising scholarship funds for middle school girls learning to tell their personal stories to younger girls

I am a USF graduate with a Bachelor in Elementary Education. I am also certified in Exceptional Student Education. I believe everyone can learn. It's my job to help you figure out what works best for you and help you achieve your goals.

I want to make schooling easier for students. Having an education is a great part of life, but it shouldn't be an added stress for students trying to understand themselves. I want to make it easier to learn all while having a great time learning and discovering new ideas.
