Math Tutoring review by Gina in Dallas Fort Worth, TX
Yesterday I met for the last time with the student to go over a math exam she took on her own. Her teacher checked her test before I got there and the student and I had a lovely morning session going over the questions she missed. Overall, she did very well on the test. I mainly reviewed a few things she was less familiar with (proportional areas, histograms, surface area/ volume). We discussed a few strategies for test day like answering all questions, eliminating answers that are equivalent, and marking questions that are difficult and may need to be revisited. It was a wonderful session and I'm convinced the student will do great on her exam in a few weeks. It's truly been a pleasure working with her and her family.
