...introductory science courses at the University of Michigan. Post-graduation, I have continued to tutor full-time in addition to doing research through the Michigan Clinical Outcomes Research and Reporting Program. I believe that all of the students I work with are intelligent, but often lecture-based learning does not fit their personal learning style. I love working with students to bridge this learning gap, helping them to genuinely understand course content and master homework and exams.... I am very focused on promoting active learning in students. It is important to me I push students to do as much as they can without me and consider questions carefully before I give them answers.
