What Might a Boulder NCLEX Course Cover?
The course can cover any topic that you might apply during your future nursing career. However, the format of the tests is an important aspect of your preparation. As the computer assesses your answers, it may choose to present you with questions in alternate formats ranging from multiple-choice to ordered response, hot spots, or fill-in-the-blank questions. Your instructor can provide practice exercises that reflect these formats so you can work on becoming familiar with them to approach test questions more efficiently and confidently. Additionally, the tests are updated every few years to reflect the most current competencies in nursing. You'll receive up-to-date, accurate information from an experienced instructor.
Your Boulder NCLEX class can focus on the various categories and subcategories of material on both tests as well. The main categories include Safe and Effective Care Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, and Psychosocial Integrity. Your instructor can also delve into the subtopics of the Physiological Integrity section, such as Basic Care and Comfort, Pharmacological Therapies, and Reduction of Risk Potential. Other areas of knowledge can be reviewed as well. It may be a while since you've studied psychology, sociology, anatomy, microbiology, or chemistry. Your instructor can provide reviews of these topics to ensure you are refreshed and any potential learning gaps are filled before you step into the test room.
What Are the Advantages of a Boulder NCLEX Course?
Studying on your own isn't always enough when it comes to preparing for exams such as the NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN.
