If you dream of becoming a pharmacist, think about getting some help with reaching for your objectives by contacting Varsity Tutors for PCAT preparation. The PCAT (Pharmacy College Admission Test) is a test focused on helping pharmacy colleges identify qualified applicants by measuring your overall academic ability along with the necessary scientific knowledge deemed beneficial for continuing your studies in science-related fields. Are you interested in learning more about PCAT test preparation programs? Please contact us to find out how PCAT tutoring can benefit you.
The PCAT exam is a computer-based test comprised of five subtests: Biological Processes, Chemical Processes, Critical Reading, Quantitative Reasoning, and Writing. It's offered six times a year, and you can take it up to five times (with some exceptions). It's administered at several locations in the United States and other parts of the world. Below is an overview of the exam that you can prepare for with your PCAT tutor:
# Questions |
Unscored Experimental Questions |
Total PCAT Exam Time |
192 Multiple Choice, 1 Writing Prompt |
8 per Multiple-Choice Subtest |
2 hours, 40 minutes |
Prep programs are conducted by PCAT tutors who are skilled in their fields. These PCAT class instructors possess great knowledge in subjects like essay writing and anatomy. They also give you one-on-one attention so you can concentrate better without distractions.
A PCAT course allows you to study at your own pace. If you want an overview or in-depth lessons, a PCAT prep tutor can conduct sessions in a way that you feel helps you best. PCAT classes also let you learn at your convenience. If you're busy with other obligations like a job or other classes, a PCAT test prep instructor can work with you to create a schedule that fits your needs. With PCAT courses, you can even request a tutor to teach you about a topic that aligns with your personal learning style. For example, if you learn best by looking at something, a PCAT prep tutor can try to help you better understand a topic like probability and statistics with charts and graphs.
In order to do your best on the exam, you have to know the topics that the five subtests cover. Here they are in detail:

In my opinion, there is no better way to assess the depth...
