If you're thinking about becoming a pharmacist one day and want help preparing for your entrance exam, you may benefit from contacting Varsity Tutors for a PCAT prep course. The Pharmacy College Admission Test, or PCAT, is an exam that assists in identifying qualified applicants to pharmacy colleges. It assesses your scientific knowledge and overall academic ability needed to pursue a career in pharmacy. Contact us for more information about PCAT prep classes.
Students who take the PCAT hope to gain admission to their desired pharmacy school. It's held during the months of January, February, July, September, October, and November. Testing takes place at several location throughout the country and some other parts of the world. You can take the PCAT up to five times. (You would need to submit certain documentation if you want to take the test more than five times.) The computer-based exam consists of five subtests. Here they are below, along with their time limits and number of questions:

PCAT prep courses take place in one-on-one environments, which makes many students more comfortable, since asking questions in school is intimidating for some. In a PCAT class, you can request a tutor to conduct a session in a way that helps you best. Do you prefer that someone lectures you or shows you a PowerPoint presentation? A tutor can provide sound recordings or slides to try to help you comprehend certain topics better. PCAT classes also can help you learn time management. Maybe you find yourself procrastinating a lot. A tutor can help you focus and organize your priorities. These PCAT courses can help you study for the exam as well as keep you on track.

Whenever my students are struggling, I would make them think of a solution not just tell them the answer. This ensures that my students learn the...

I graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry. My overarching drive in academics has always been to consistently challenge myself in my studies whilst also serving as a mentor to others.... Everyone has the capacity to gain mastery over a subject. I just have to continue finding the right way to convey it.... Asking questions and gauging the student's ability by the answers that they give. Then, as a tutor, I go from that baseline and work upwards.

I love to be helpful to people, and I love to help students improve their performance in classes and on tests. I have an excellent track record of strong performances in graded classes and on standardized tests. I am confident that I can help any student take their performance to the next level in any of several academic subject areas, especially math and chemistry, and on standardized tests.... I learn first. That is, I learn a student's learning style and barriers to improved performance. Then, I cater my approach to that learning style and offer ways to overcome those barriers.
