What will an Omaha ISEE course cover?

Students need to demonstrate a high school vocabulary on the Verbal Reasoning section and to show proficiency with synonyms and the parts of words and speech. Quantitative Reasoning will focus on a student's ability to think in the language of mathematics, solving problems, measuring, and making inferences about data using their math skills. Reading Comprehension will ask students to understand concepts like authorial tone and intent, and to be able to identify relationships between texts. Math Achievement will put the emphasis on a student's math operations knowledge using equations that involve variables, exponents, mean, median, mode, range, area and perimeter of shapes, the properties of triangles, and more. For the Essay, students should be able to show admissions boards that they can construct an organized, mechanically sound work that supports its argument with details.
