The test was designed to assess how prepared a student is to continue on with their studies at the graduate school level. The exam serves the same role for many graduate programs as the SAT and ACT do at the undergrad level. If you take the GRE and perform well on it, then you may have a better chance of getting into your top choice graduate programs. That's why having a strong test preparation process is vital as you get ready to take the GRE. A GRE prep class could be the right fit for your needs.

It was my first exposure to education (from the educators side) back when I was in college, working with students at a local high school. First with them, and also my friends, I noticed that I really enjoyed helping people understand something they were struggling with. Thats why I hope to tutor as many students as I can handle. As a tutor, it's my duty to aim higher with my students in grasping that new idea or internalizing the keystone concept. I take a holistic approach to learning, since our education should be structured not only to help us pass exams but to additionally give us enjoyment and perspective for life's ups and downs. I began teaching in earnest over...

I graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC in 2008, the oldest English speaking acting conservatory in the world. I graduated Summa from University of St Thomas with a BA in English, and just wrapped up a MS in Data Science from Northwestern. I'm a huge Red Sox fan and love watching detective shows when I have free time.... Positivity. Always. I believe that if a student is given positive tools and is allowed to understand the material rather than be lectured at, they're more likely to do well in the future.
