...years of one on one and group tutoring experience in a majority of Math based subjects. I have worked with high school and college level students in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and Statistics. I like to use a three part tutoring method that 1) determines what the student does not understand, 2) walks step by step through example problems and 3) requires the student to show me that a problem can be completed independently.

I have tutored students of all ages in various subjects such as math and physics. I approach teaching with a positive and encouraging attitude as well as patience. My teaching style changes with each student but overall I teach in a way that best suits the student's needs and aids them most in their studies.

The Montessori philosophy, "individual, freedom within limits," is the teaching style that I adopt. Especially when teaching world languages, it is very hard to frame all students in the same box since each student's learning style is different. Knowing and observing a student's strengths and personally designing the teaching method based on each student's or parent's expectation is my goal.

My original experience in tutoring comes from my friends and family asking me for help with their math assignments. Currently, I attend Georgia Tech and am a math tutor. I also tutor beginner's Latin and test preparation. Besides tutoring, I am interested in horseback riding, photography and being outdoors.
