I am very passionate about helping others to further their math skills and understanding! With 4 years of tutoring experience across grades 1 through college, I specialize in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Statistics, and Calculus. Additionally, I try to adapt my teaching style to each student by breaking down concepts step-by-step and encouraging active problem-solving.

I am a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I received a Bachelors of Science in Actuarial Mathematics. I have always enjoyed math, participating in problem solving competitions from 4th grade through Senior year of High School. In my math classes I made a point of helping out classmates who were having trouble understanding the concepts. I find it very rewarding to help people better understand math, a subject that I enjoy so much. I am an Eagle Scout and in my free time I enjoy Hiking, Camping, and playing Video Games. I also enjoy swimming and sailing, when I have the opportunity.
I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. I received my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. I was lucky enough to travel to San Fransisco, CA for a co-op before COVID-19 but, since then, I have found myself enjoying the city life of Boston, MA. I am passionate about STEM and introducing these subjects to students as early as possible. At first glance, STEM learning may seem intimidating, but early and consistent exposure is key to tackling it later on in students' learning careers. Outside of academia, I like exploring museums and pop-up exhibits. I have also found that a stroll around the neighborhood calms the busy mind and recommend it to anyone in need of a break.
I am an Aerospace Engineer currently pursuing my Master's Degree at my alma mater, Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I received my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI in 2018. I have been studying STEM subjects throughout my college career, and I love helping others understand these concepts. Additionally, I have a career as a stage actor in musical theatre, so I have great energy and love working with people! As I have cultivated my career in the arts, I have found that I want to pass on what I have learned in the world of STEM onto younger students. An interest in STEM is vital to scientific progress, and I enjoy promoting that interest in others, especially in math and science. In my spare time, I love exercising, cooking and playing video games with friends.
I have 38+ Years experience teaching and tutoring Math courses in middle school, high school and college. I believe all students can learn and enjoy math, but it depends on how you teach them.
I am a rising second-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with plans to earn a Master's degree in Power Systems Engineering. I have a strong passion for mathematics, science, and problem-solving, and my academic experiences have helped me develop the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. Through my coursework, I have learned how to approach challenging material with patience and analytical thinking while adapting explanations to fit different learning styles. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students understand difficult concepts and improve academically, but also to build their confidence, critical-thinking skills, and ability to solve problems independently. I hope to share the knowledge, study habits, and enthusiasm for learning that have contributed to my own success and help students achieve their academic goals.
My name is Diana and I fell in love with math and science about ten years ago; that plus becoming the biggest fan of Tony Stark (Iron Man) led me to become an engineer and I haven't looked back since! I tutored when I was an undergraduate in college for college level physics and calculus. I've always enjoyed teaching and tutoring whether it's by helping a student step by step or helping them to come up with a creative solution. Now, as a professional I participate in STEM outreach programs to advocate for students from underrepresented demographics to pursue engineering. I take pride in my education and career, which is why it's important to me to be able to share my passion with others.
I studied chemical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Prior to graduation, I spent time designing science laboratory activities for impoverished rural schools in Thailand. After graduation I worked for the Office of the Princess in Thailand, teaching English at one of the Princess's schools and to her place staff. Recently I scored a 750 on the GMAT exam including perfect scores on the quantitative and integrated reasoning sections.I specialize in the quantitative section of the GMAT exam and is extremely knowledgeable about preparing for test day, helping students score as well on the actual exam as they do on their practice tests. When not tutoring, I enjoy hiking, poker, travel, and meditation.
