Ceros repetidos
Los ceros que surgen de factores repetidos de una función polinomial son llamados ceros repetidos .
Ejemplo:
f ( x ) = x 2 – 6 x + 9
Iguale f ( x ) a cero, factorice y resuelva.
0 = ( x – 3)( x – 3)
x = 3 o x = 3
Ya que x – 3 aparece dos veces como un factor, 3 aparece dos veces como un cero de la función y es llamado un cero repetido de la función.
