Certified Tutor

Hi everyone, my name is Chelsea, it's nice to meet you! I have a B.S. in Physics and a M.S. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from UT Dallas (Go Comets!) and I love to help physics, chemistry, biology and math students of all levels.

Let's talk about sessions....

Subjects: For sciences I only teach biology, chemistry and physics and very closely related kinds of general physics, I do not have a speciality in any particular type of physics unless it is part of the undergraduate curriculum for physics majors accepted by most universities (such as Thermodynamics, Optics, etc). I now tutor mathematics as well.

I operate on a first-come first-serve basis to make session timing fair to all students. Requests made for next day session under 24 hours can only be honored if there is available space. Any cancellations for are day session requests will be invoiced as a 24 hour cancellation.

For New Students:
Please send me your most recent updated availability as soon as you can, thank you! This speeds up the process of scheduling tremendously.

Materials: I can't emphasize this enough. Please send any materials you'd like to cover during the session at least 24 hours before our scheduled session time (so that I have enough time to prepare), it's never too early to send materials to my email.

Time Zones: Also, unless otherwise specified, all session times will be communicated in CST (converting your time zone to CST) for ease of use and to reduce confusion considering Varsity Tutors has students from all over the United States.
