We must find the number of boys in Ms. Williams class; there are 8 boys in Ms. Williams class.
We must find the number of girls in Ms. Jones class; there are 13 girls in Ms. Jones class.
We then add these numbers up to get the total in the lunch room.

When looking at the table, we have to pay attention to the titles of the columns. So, let's look at the table.
We see the first column displays the first color we are using. The second column shows the second color. The third column is the new color we get when we combine the first two.
So, to find the colors used to create green, we first need to locate green in the last column. We see that it is in the third row. Now, we can look in the same row and see the first and the second color used to make green.
We see that blue is the first color and yellow is the second color.
Therefore, blue and yellow are the two colors used to make green.

When looking at the table
we need to look at each part and see how the columns are related.
If we look at the first row, we can see John B gets paid $9/hour. We see that he worked a total of 10 hours. He ended up earning a total of $90. If we look at the relation between those numbers, we can see that the first column times the second column equals the third column.
We can check that relation with the remaining rows of employees. We can see that it is true for the remaining employees, so we can use that relation to fill in the missing information.
