Education: Paying It Forward by Timothy - December 2015 Scholarship Essay
I see myself as a lawyer involved in some way to make this planet and our country the safest place to learn and live in peace and freedom. While my patriotic thought process aligns with this country's forefathers and mothers, I am convinced that an educational workload provides all of us with the ability to think in conceptual and logical terms providing much more room for abstract thought ideals. To do just that, I have to be in a position in government to promote that concept along with my peers to collectively solve the errs of mankind.
A decade in today's time configuration is a lot in both speed and volume. This means the workload increases with time, not aligning itself with the thoughts of our forefathers and mothers to retire early and attempt to live out your life to its end in a quasi-natural state of self-worship. Success in a decade simply depends on my ability to handle stress, time management and organize the constant shifting demands of my life as a law student. I come from humble beginnings, like most of my best Professors.
Education is a fundamental support track that never stops until the individual in the educational process ceases to stop that learning process and incorporates the excuse, although a strong influence, to the cost of a college education and higher learning. In a biological perspective, education separates humans from other organisms. College level educations and higher learning promotes brain function and maturity. Further, college educations increase productivity in all fields and maintain stability in life function.
I want to help create a legal system that is less expensive in both time and actually monetary costs within the next ten years. People have helped me with some of the cost of my education and most of those individuals; I've never even spoken to, let alone met in person. Their thought processes at least three decades ago were considered "thinking outside the box", like the phrase "paying it forward" is used today.
Candidly, I do not know where I will be in ten years. My dreams are different. My goal to achieve is based on a heavy workload, as sacrifices are constantly being made for me. I am not gifted or blessed with the mental absorb of knowledge or the ability of fine arts. For me, I know that the really old phrases," nothing is for granted, the truth is the truth, study hard and play hard, money don't grow on trees," all works for me and therefor provides the fuel to run the educational machine. Educated people making educated decisions provides and then empowers all people with the right to be happy in their own lives. This concept got me a seat in college.
My success is based on conventional thoughts processes, memory retention, positive concept ideals and the value of human life and the rights of freedom under a heavy educational course load. The goal is to make big, so big, that I can give it all back tenfold without essay to any kid that is not afraid to work for it, is not gifted and most importantly, recognizes that fact.
