Have you ever felt that you have an ambition you wanted to accomplish and was willing to climb the highest
mountain no matter how challenging the mountain became? If so then you and I may have a certain thing in
common. I Tanoka Adams am a person who wants to follow his ambition instead of a dream. In my opinion
dreams are a succession of images, ideas, emotions , and sensations that occurs involuntairly in the mind.
Whereas an ambiton should be your strong desire to strive for typically with harwork, and determination to achieve
success. I will tell you an ambition I would love to accomplish in my lifetime on this Earth.
When I was 15 years old I entered a new chapter in my life called "high school". The thoughts I had when I
entered high school my mindset wasn't as strong and focus as it should be. My first year of high school made me
realize that there aren't many young African American males caring about their education. As I would enter the
school I would see students fighting , using negative language, it opened my eyes and made me see that I don't
want to become one of those type. My mom always taught me to have high standards in anything I do.
Towards my middle years of high school I was playing football, making honor roll , and walking across the stage
recieving awards. My mom was very proud of me. When I saw the look on my mother face I knew right then an
there that my ambition was to just make my family happy. I knew that it wasn't going to be easy for me. I would
have to focus and be determinated of course as I kept on trying the roads would get tuff, bumpy , and rocky. Now I
am in my senior year of high school ready to take on any challenge that comes my way.
I know that the ingredients aren't far from reaching as I seek the vision as every day pass for me. The ambition
is to become the best I can be for me and my family. This achievement may seem to be easy to obtain , but in
reality isn't. I want to leave a mark that everyone is conformable with and maintain it without a mistake that can't
possibly be wiped away. We all embrace what we love, and I have done that with the culture that has raised me.
While I appreciate it on the surface level, as entertainment, I understand there is more to it. It has caused me to
learn more than I would have in school. Many of your people would run away from ambition there an ambition and
give up , but not me I am fluent in the language of my time. I am uniquely suited to the understanding and applying
these concepts to my highest achievements , higher learning. What you're getting with me is someone who wants
to accomplish this ambiton an is willing to be able to bridge the gap between anything that stopping me from
achieving my ambition , I also must apply my education to the future.
