A new year’s resolution that I have set for myself this year is to visit the library as many days as possible during the week. This will help me to become a better student because it will provide me with a better atmosphere for completing homework and also will keep me from wasting my time on my computer playing games.
I’ve always loved going to the library it has given me the peace and quiet that I needed to complete my studies as well as to read a book on my free time. It was a place where I could get away from my family and all of their distractions and be able to focus. Also being that it was a library I would have to be quiet so it would give me an incentive not to play any games on my computer while I was there, due to the fact that I am a little rowdy when I play my games.
I used to try to go to the library every day if I could the a few years ago. Last year I was just so pressed for time that I wasn’t able to go even if I wanted to. This year, however, I’m hoping is different. I hope that this year I will be able to allocate my time a little better to allow myself time to go to a local library. The library is a magical place built for learning and as my new year’s resolution I have decided to try to go to one as many times within the week as possible in efforts to help myself become a more successful student.
